We are a Transitional Kindergarten through Sixth grade school that offers an integrated focus in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

La Tercera is proud of the instruction that it offers all students at our school site. In our TK program, all instruction centers around the Preschool Foundation Standards for School Readiness. We focus on a play based approach to learning with hands-on activities.

La Tercera’s greatest asset is our amazing school community. Our neighborhood school boasts students coming from all walks of life enabling students and families to learn from one another about a variety of cultures.

Students come to school with varied life and school experiences. A number of students need to be explicitly taught certain social emotional and problem solving skills.

It is our priority at La Tercera to provide students with diverse experiences and opportunities for growth. Outside of our STEM focus, we are proud that we offer students opportunities. These opportunities are specials on campus including music, physical education, library, yearbook, and robust student leadership activities.

La Tercera’s vision of a STEM education is CORE to who our school site is. STEM at La Tercera includes larger project investigations including thematic units of learning. Students at La Tercera dive into project based learning units that integrate STEM skills into real life problem solving.
